Acceptance & Scope

By scheduling or receiving services from BBB Lawn Care you agree to these Terms. A “Client” refers to the property owner or authorized agent requesting service.

Scope

Service Scope & Changes

Work includes only what is listed on an accepted quote or written communication.

  • Included Services: Mowing, trimming, edging, aeration, landscaping, seasonal cleanups, tree & shrub maintenance where specified.
  • Change Orders: Additional tasks require approval (text/email acceptable) before execution.
  • Subcontracting: Rare; if used, standards & insurance remain our responsibility.
Scheduling

Scheduling, Access & Weather

We aim for route efficiency with flexibility for safety and turf health.

  • Windows: Recurring maintenance may have a service window rather than exact time.
  • Weather: Excessive rain, lightning, saturated turf or freeze may prompt rescheduling.
  • Access: Client must ensure gates unlocked & pets secured. Locked access may result in trip charge at our discretion.
  • Obstructions: Debris / items left in lawn may limit service quality; we are not liable for concealed objects (toys, hoses, cables).
Billing

Pricing, Payments & Invoicing

Simple, clear, prompt.

  • Quotes: Valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
  • Payment Methods: Venmo, Cash App, cash, check (no online card acceptance on site currently).
  • Due Time: Standard maintenance: due at/after service. Projects: deposit may be required.
  • Late Payments: Balance past 10 days may incur modest late fee (up to 10% or $15 minimum).
  • Non-Payment: May suspend future visits until resolved.
  • Price Adjustments: Large growth changes, overgrowth, lot size misrepresentation may adjust pricing with notice.
Quality

Satisfaction Guarantee & Issues

We want long-term relationships built on trust.

  • Reporting Window: Please report concerns within 48 hours for prompt correction.
  • Exclusions: Turf disease, irrigation failures or pre-existing damage not caused by our work are outside guarantee.
  • Correction: We will re-service or adjust at no added charge when within scope.
Liability

Liability, Damages & Safety

We operate with commercial insurance & best practices.

  • Insurance: General liability covers accidental property damage attributable to our team.
  • Limits: Liability limited to amount paid for affected service unless law requires otherwise.
  • Hidden Objects: We are not responsible for damage to concealed irrigation heads, cables, pipes or items not visible.
  • Safety Refusal: We may decline unsafe tasks (unstable trees, hazardous slopes) and recommend specialists.
Duration

Cancellation & Termination

Flexible, fair approach to recurring work.

  • Recurring Maintenance: Cancel anytime with 7 days notice so we can adjust routing.
  • Projects: Deposits may be partially non‑refundable once materials purchased.
  • Cause Termination: We may terminate for repeated non-payment, abusive conduct or unsafe site conditions.
Other

Miscellaneous & Contact

General legal boilerplate kept clear.

  • Governing Law: State of Texas (without conflict principles).
  • Severability: Invalid clause does not affect remaining terms.
  • No Waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of rights.
  • Updates: Material changes posted with revised date; continued use implies acceptance.
